Currently working as lead design for two men’s wear brands:

  • TIM PARIS – A contemporary men’s casual wear brand.

  • NUMANN – A performance-driven activewear brand.

Key Responsibilities:
TIM PARIS – Men’s Casual Wear
  • Category Lead – Knits & Winter Wear: T-shirts, Polos, Jackets, Pullovers, and Sweatshirts.

  • Market Research & Trend Forecasting: Analyzing market trends, consumer demographics, and purchasing behaviors to strategize product development.

  • Strategic Planning: Identifying key trends and customer preferences to create a commercially viable product range.

  • Line Planning: Structuring collections based on sales projections and store capacity to optimize retail space.

  • Seasonal Themes & Concepts: Developing unique seasonal design directions aligned with brand identity.

  • Product Development & Approval: Creating line drawings, presenting designs to management for approval, and ensuring smooth bulk production processes.

  • Fabric & Trim Sourcing: Coordinating with the sourcing team to select the right fabrics and GSM suited for each product category.

  • Production Monitoring: Overseeing fit approvals, fabric selection, print execution, dyeing colors, and packaging.

  • Sales Team Alignment: Training the sales team to effectively communicate product details to store staff, ensuring they can convey the brand story to customers.

NUMANN – Men’s Activewear (My Passion Project)

Personally involved in shaping NUMANN from the ground up, including logo design, brand concept, vision, mission, and product range development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Research & Trend Forecasting: Studying global and Indian sportswear trends to define BASIX, TRAINING, and RUNNING categories.

  • Fabric Sourcing: Selecting performance fabrics optimized for moisture-wicking, stretchability, and durability.

  • 3D Draping & Line Art Development: Using 3D garment visualization to ensure a perfect anatomical fit for our customers.

  • Sample Development: Working closely with merchandising team and vendors for sampling and testing before production.

  • Production Oversight: Monitoring quality control, fit accuracy, and functional detailing.

  • Marketing & Meta Targeting: Leading social media campaigns, brand positioning, and digital marketing strategies.

  • Fashion & Trend Forecasting: Analyze global and local fashion trends to set the seasonal brand direction.

  • Key Story Development: Finalize men’s and women’s key stories for the season, ensuring a strong narrative across collections.

  • Category Planning: Plan and structure product categories based on previous season's sales data and market demand.

  • Design De-Brief: Guide the design team as per the line plan, ensuring a balance across price segments and product diversity.

  • Fabric & Trim Sourcing: Collaborate with the merchant team to develop and source new materials for enhanced innovation.

  • Collection Presentation: Showcase the final collection to management for alignment and approvals.

Working as a sportswear designer for core & trending athleisure products.

 
Fashion and trend forecasting for the season, deciding the seasonal brand direction along with the women's design lead, ensuring coordinated look for the brand.
Finalizing the key stories for Men's and boys categories.
Design de-brief to the team according to the line plan, to ensure all price segments are catered to.
Alongside, working with the merchant team to develop and source new fabrics and trims.
Presenting the final collection to the management.
Sampling handover, and samples' development along with the merchant/sampling team.
Line presentation to customers, gathering feedback, and ensuring flawless and smooth line handover for production.
Creating ensembles and looks for the seasonal photo shoot.
Creating the brief for the window-stories for the visual merchandiser.
